Wild River Dog Park & Coffee Shop

Wild River Dog Park is a 3 acre staffed Dog Park in the outskirts of Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland. It’s the perfect place to exercise your dog off-lead, with plenty of agility and activities for your dog to enjoy.

Since opening in June 2022, we have had thousands of visitors bring their lucky pooches to a play session at Wild River. We offer a one of a kind experience, 1.5 acres for your dog to roam free, take a dig in our sand pit, a dip in our paddling pool, test out their skills in our custom made agility, forage in our snuffle zone and much more!

In December 2022, we have opened our very popular Coffee Shop ‘Number 42’ serving speciality coffee, luxury tray bakes and savoury snacks. We even serve puppuccinos for your lucky pooches! We have a stunning outdoor seating area, with custom-made wooden furniture, a log burning fire for those colder mornings and panoramic views of the Down countryside.

Wild River caters to all dogs, whether you have a social butterfly or a pooch that likes it’s own space – we have something for you. Our Fun Park is bookable for play sessions of up to 10 dogs for £5, or you can reserve the Private Park for 1-1 with your dog for £10. Our sessions run on the hour, and we have a seamless online booking system for you to secure your pooches slot at Wild River Dog Park.
